Coffee Grinds in Island of Hawaii

They fill your iced coffee cup with ice and them pour the espresso on top, adding milk last. Nice watered down coffee, anyone? And no whip cream? Whoever heard of a mocha without whip cream?

LOVE this place! I had a yummy breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee, which had GREAT flavor. Very warm and friendly service too. Highly recommend this place!

Quick stop as we head home. Even had frozen coffee ice cubes for my iced latte. :)

The best breakfast ever!!!! We had BLT croissant and Pesto croissant and was amazing! Seriously we have never try such tasty croissants! And coffee by the way was really good, we bought one pound home:)Sorry, no pictures, because we ate everything too quickly 😁

Great menu for food and for coffee. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend this place for a coffee fix, lunch, or breakfast. Indoor and outdoor seating. We were just tourists, but this place seemed popular with locals too. I had oatmilk (Pacific not oatly) iced lattes with coffee cubes. No WiFi and no bathrooms, but portables are around the corner.

Strong coffee. I really enjoyed the skillet breakfast with sausage, potatoes, and eggs. Very hospitable and attentive staff.

The owners and staff were so fantastic. Really nice and kid friendly. they gave my daughter paper to color on and just before we left they gave her a little artsy knick knack. (my daughter wanted me to also add that they gave her something to put on our fridge!) Great customer service and excellent quality food

Stopped here on our way back from Punalu’u bakery for some breakfast. Their breakfast burrito’s are delicious! I got mine with some avocado and sausage. It was quite hearty! Great and friendly service too!

Great little coffee and breakfast spot. Gluten friendly options available. Filter/drip coffee was fantastic, latte wasn’t the same as an Australian standard. Did have single use plates.

Probably the best breakfast in the southern part of the island, with a creative menu expertly prepared. ($1.00 coffee refill is a bit pricey, but it is flipping delicious coffee.) Mind blowing scones (go early when they’re fresh and hot)... just go early, this place gets busy, for a reason.

We ordered special of the day: pork-white beans soup and smoothy... yummy!

We ordered two veggie wraps, indicating we are vegan, which on the menu had hummus and veggies. We drove half an hour and stopped to eat them and there was Parmesan and pesto in the wrap as well. Parmesan isn’t vegetarian or vegan, so calling it a vegetarian wrap and saying it was suitable to us as vegans was inaccurate. We tried reaching out by phone, email and Instagram to ask about the order and never heard back. We spent $22 on lunch we had to throw away. such a waste.UPDATE: Heard back from “new management” 3 weeks later apologizing for the mistake, however they won’t provide a refund because it was the previous managements fault. Not sure what that says about new management!

Probably my favourite breakfast place on the island. They have better coffee than most places in Kona.

I had a chicken sandwich there and I was pleasantly surprised of how good it was!!! the bread was perfectly toasted and the service was great. $$

I stopped in right before closing, desperate for some coffee. I was so tired, it took me 10 whole minutes to realize she was offering me a cup on the house since it was the last of the coffee for that day. So I didn't get to thank her, and I decided to give them a nice review instead. Coffee really was good, too, even for the remnants!

One of my favorite breakfast spots while visiting Hawaii! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Coffee was great and food was delicious. They use really fresh ingredients. We felt like everything was priced accordingly! Would definitely come back!

We followed advice and stopped here. We had the baked skillet breakfast. They were busy and did3 a good job. The portions were small but very good.

Amazing customer service at Coffee Grinds. Great selection of food and of course the coffee is world class. I loved the small touches like adding coffee ice cubes to our iced coffee and gladly filling our water bottles for us.
